What are the differences in the Maps I received?
If you received your mapping via the Brock's Performance Map Support Program, you most likely received a Street, Pump Track, and Track map database. Please note that because of the limited note capability of the PCV, additional information is provided in the body of the map support e-mail as well as in the PCV map notes.
COMPETITION USE ONLY POLICY
All products are for competition use only (excluding Carbon Fiber Wheels). Any other use may violate the law. Not all parts are certified for highway use. Check your local and state laws. Brock Davidson Enterprises, Inc. disclaims any and all liability for consequential or incidental damages. Click here to read more about this policy
TRACK MAP: For use on the track with ALL private owners information followed, using oxygenated fuel (MR12, MRX02, Q16 etc…)
PUMP TRACK MAP: For use on the track (or hot street use) with the (private) information followed, using pump gas (Shell 89 suggested)
STREET STYLE MAP: For competition use on ‘street style’ courses, using pump gas (Shell 89 used to develop pump gas maps, but any Top Tier Detergent Gasoline can be used – follow mfg.’s min octane recommendations). Designed to enhance low-speed drivability and increase fuel mileage at cruising speeds, but still provide the mid-range and top-end punch of our track maps.

After many years of dyno and race track testing, Brock's Performance only endorses and uses Sprint Filter Air Filters. It has been our experience that most 'million mile' oiled gauze air filters do not perform as well as stock and can actually work much worse. The reduced airflow compared to stock disrupts our known good mapping, significantly reduces power levels, fouls plugs, creates excessive soot at the exhaust tip, generates excessive carbon deposits in the intake track etc.
We have even noticed an increase in power by using a Sprint Filter P08 F1-85 air filter compared to no air filter at all. Watch this video for more details.
