Can I use a clutch cushion kit with a multistage clutch?

We do not recommend using our Clutch Cushion Kit with an MTC multistage clutch if you're running it in full multistage mode. The cushion and multistage systems are designed to control clutch engagement in different ways, and combining them in this configuration can cause inconsistent performance and setup complications.

However, many riders in Super Streetbike-style builds successfully use our cushion in conjunction with a multistage clutch that’s set up in dual-stage fashion. In this configuration, the multistage acts more like a lock-up, allowing for better compatibility.
