Do you re-adjust your clutch after installing Brock's Clutch Mod?
No clutch adjustment is typically needed after installing Brock’s Clutch Mod. However, stalling when putting the bike into gear usually indicates incorrect assembly, most often due to OEM parts being reused that should have been removed.
Here’s what to double-check:
Make sure you have removed and set aside the following OEM components, as they are no longer used with our Clutch Mod:
-
(6) OEM clutch springs
-
(6) spring tops
-
Pressure plate
-
Thrust washer
-
Needle bearing
-
Clutch pusher
-
Locknut and four OEM slipper springs
We recommend tie-wrapping the removed parts together in the order they were taken out in case you ever need to return to stock.
If any of the OEM components are mistakenly left in during installation, it can prevent the clutch from disengaging properly—causing the bike to stall when shifted into gear.
