No, it’s not required—but it is strongly recommended.

Brock’s Performance fuel mapping is specifically designed to work with the OEM air filter or any Sprint Filter model. These filters provide consistent airflow characteristics that match our tuning parameters.

⚠️ Important Note:

We do not recommend oiled gauze filters, as their airflow properties differ significantly and can negatively affect performance and tuning accuracy when used with our maps or ECU flash.

For best results, stick with OEM or Sprint Filter options.
